Awareness cum training program on improved Production Technology on Jute production was organized on dated 15 December 2023 with collaboration of Directorate of Jute Board, Kolkata at CISH-KVK/RRS Malda. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Luxman Ram Buldak, Director Directorate of Jute Board Kolkata. He emphasied on increase of jute production and coverage. During the program Dr. Dipak Nayak I/c Head RRS Malda gave brief details of initiative, which were taken for production and processing of good quality of fiber through technology interventions. Dr. D. K. Raghav Head CISH-KVK Malda discussed about the diversification and value addition of jute fiber for packaging, which will be helpful in reducing the plastic consumption and pollution also. Mr. Anuj Kumar Asstt Director of Jute Board gave details of schemes, which is being implemented for the farmers in potential areas of jute production. The technical expert from Jute board delivered the details of technology for increasing the productivities in low land areas of the district. 40 female farmers attended the programme from Agrani FPO of district. दिनांक 15 दिसंबर 2023 को जूट बोर्ड निदेशालय, कोलकाता के सहयोग से जूट उत्पादन पर बेहतर उत्पादन तकनीक पर एक जागरूकता सह प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम सीआईएसएच-केवीके/आरआरएस मालदा में आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन जूट बोर्ड निदेशालय कोलकाता के निदेशक डॉ. लक्ष्मण राम बुलडक ने किया। उन्होंने जूट उत्पादन और कवरेज बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान डॉ. दीपक नायक प्रभारी प्रमुख आरआरएस मालदा ने इस पहल की संक्षिप्त जानकारी दी उन्होंने बताया प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले रेशे के उत्पादन और प्रसंस्करण के लिए कदम उठाए गए। डॉ. डी.के. राघव प्रमुख सीआईएसएच-केवीके मालदा ने विविधीकरण और मूल्यवर्धन के बारे में चर्चा की पैकेजिंग के लिए जूट फाइबर, जो प्लास्टिक की खपत और प्रदूषण को भी कम करने में सहायक होगा। जूट बोर्ड के सहायक निदेशक श्री अनुज कुमार ने योजनाओं का विवरण दिया हैं, जो इसके लिए कार्यान्वित की जा रही हैं। जूट बोर्ड के तकनीकी विशेषज्ञो ने जिले के निचले भूमि क्षेत्र में उत्पादकता बढ़ाने के लिए विस्तृत तकनीक प्रदान की हैं। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम में अग्रणी किसान उत्पादक संघ के कुल 40 महिला किसानो ने भाग लिया ।
